Take the "Will You Shave" challenge, Will you???

Have you ever in your life been thrown out of a class or an interview or an office for not being groomed at your best? Well I have been. In today’s world perfectly groomed candidates are required; it doesn't really matters which industry they belong to. Grooming includes of many factors but the key ingredient to a perfectly groomed person is being well shaved. I may sound funny or ridiculous but it’s the truth. A small thing like shaving can make your day or can make it look a lot worse then you could have ever imagined. And I am telling this because I have personally witnessed this in my life and I have taken a great lesson from that too.

This is what happened. I left preparing for my medical entrance examinations as soon as I passed out my twelfth standard and the reason behind not going for medicals was that I didn't want to spend half of life studying. That is an entire different story so let’s concentrate to this story. And I was in search of a new career option. One of my relative suggested me to go for hospitality management and God knows I took that suggestion too seriously. Thus I decided to go for an Interview for the Hospitality management course and ended up on the gate of International Institute of Hotel Management, Kolkata.

Being from science background I had no idea what I was going to face and how I was going to do it. So I left everything in the hand of Guru Mahadev. After qualifying for the group discussion and written test round anyhow there I was in the last round the Personal Interview round. This round was supposed to be conducted by Director of the college itself. Frankly speaking I wasn't scared or nervous at all. And the reason behind not being nervous was that it was my first interview and I was clueless what was happening inside that cabin. I was dressed up in a cargo and a tee with my sports shoes on and I had not shaved and had huge curls on my chick.

After a long wait of half an hour finally it was my turn to face the PI. I knocked the door and asked that should I come in? And a lady replied yes please come in. I got into the cabin finally and that was the instance I started feeling nervous. The very first question asked to me was that whether I was there for an interview? The question puzzled me and I was in a state of dilemma that wasn't she sure that I was going to be interviewed by her. I replied  yes mam. She told me that I wasn't groomed at all. Well that I wasn't for sure. I sensed the situation was getting worse so said a silent prayer and started to think of something to handle the situation. So I instantly apologized for not being in perfect attire and for not shaving. She told me that she was going to qualify me for the round just because of my etiquettes and good manner. Well the day was saved finally and I realized that shaving could have saved my day a lot easier. Later the director called me and said, "son it doesn't matter where ever you go never leave your house without shaving". And I took her words seriously. It has been around 5 years in the hospitality industry and there has not been a day that I haven't shave except for my off days. And for guys who have sensitive skin please go for Gillette Razor, its very skin friendly and leaves your skin soft and moisturised. Shave and be Groomed always.

Ab Montu Bolega

Hello I am MONTU. I am not a very open type of person and I am often unheard. People don’t even seem to care about me or even know that I am present. Although it’s Montu who has helped these people every time they have come and asked for his help. And it’s only due to Montu’s wish that these people have reached such high places. But who remembers Montu today. I have been left out and no one seems to be amused by me any more. There was a time when people used to visit my door step their hand folded asking for help to make them win the position want and Montu could just smile back in reply. Am I dumb or am I insensitive? Well I am none of them but that is what these people think of me. I live in world where promises are just made to be broken, where poor are just fed in people’s imaginations and their castles are only built in air. Yet Montu doesn’t speak of his rights just thinking may be tomorrow someone from somewhere is going to fulfil all his promises that he has made. That someone is going to take care of all the issues our mother land has been facing. All his keeps thinking is that “Koi toh aayega”. But I was wrong.

Years passed by and the situation got worst from worse. No one heard me or cared for my needs. Behold things has crossed the limits and now it is really the high time for everything. Be prepared because #AbMontuBolega . There is a very common phrase in Hindi, “Jab ghee sidhi ungli se nahi nikalta ungli tedhi kerni perti hai”. Means if you are not getting what you deserve in plain and simple manner you need to apply some external for or think differently for it. Strepsils has taken this opportunity to encourage Montu to gear up and speak of his rights. Strepsils under #AbMontuBolega campaign has taken the charge to shake and wake up the sleeping Montu’s in India. And Swach Bharat doesn't only means an India cleaned off dirt and garbage. It means India clean of every flaw. People have not heard from Montu since very long but now it is time to raise the voice and be heard.

How To Play:-

It's too easy to start up with the game. After you have logged in and you are in your profile you can see a list of brands featuring on your display screen. All the brand names are arranged in alphabetical orders and you can know about a brand in more detail by clicking on it which takes you to the dashboard of the brand where you can get all the required information. What you got to do is that you need to select six brands of your choice and make a ticket. You can select a brand by clicking on the plus sign in the right side of the brand name or deselect it by clicking again on the same tab to form a ticket. In other words when you are done with selecting six brands the game generates a ticket for you. Now this is the ticket which is going to decide you score based on the brand you have chosen. This score is revealed after the game ends. Every game has a time frame, you can find a digital clock on the topmost part of your screen which is a kind of countdown until the next game is to be played. You can generate a maximum of three tickets for one game.

How does it work:-

If the brands that you have selected earn good ranks you are going to get a good score. The Score completely depends on the brand you have chosen. If your chosen brands add up to a good score and your score is highest you win that game. To know the result of the game you need to go to the menu and click on select your ticket. Bring Back The Touch of Love

"Mai tujhse dur kaisa hun tu mujhse dur kaisi hai ye mera dil samakhta hai ya tera dil samajhta hai."

Kumar                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Long ago yet not so long there were two ordinary people Prem and Puja. They were from two different families, Two different background and even two different casts but they had one thing in common the spark of love for each other hidden somewhere deep in their heart. They went to the same school and were the best of friends. Their families also shared good bonding between each other but they never knew that what was going to come their way.

As they grew up they started understanding the love and care they had for each other. But none of them had the guts to express it to the other. And they were in search of such an opportunity when they could express their love for each other. Guess what? Their fate was watching them over and was going to give them such an opportunity very soon.

It was 21st of December and the school was supposed to break for Christmas vacation after a small cultural program in the evening. The children were so exited, they knew Santa was going to come this year too and would drop presents for them near their Christmas tree. Children have a gift of wide imagination, one can’t even imagine that how far and deep a child brain can think. Well coming back to the topic Prem and Puja were to perform a couple dance on the song “Tujhme Rab Dikhta hai” and they were ready to set the stage on fire. A lovely couple all dressed up glittered on the stage for the performance and claps roared all around the hall. Undoubtedly that was the best performance of the night. The dance was over they bowed to the audience and the curtain fell. While they were leaving the stage Puja stumbled over the steps and guess what? Prem ran for her rescue. She directly fell in his arms and their eye met and that was the moment of their Love.

They were so deep in love with each other. But there were few people who were not so comfortable with this relation and Puja’s parents were included in that list too. So they decided to break this bond. After a long family meeting they decided to send Puja away for her higher studies. Puja and Prem were so unaware of the decision made by Puja’s parents. They did what they had to keep Puja away from Prem. They sent her to Kota for her studies and Prem went to Delhi. Their heart cried out every single night but it was matter of their career which tied their hand and they were helpless.

Couple of years passed by and they didn’t see each other although they were in contact thought social networking. The fate struck again and this time in the favor of the lovely couple. They were supposed to get back to their home town for Diwali after two years. Puja’s parents took a promise from her that she is not going to tell Prem that she was coming home for Diwali. And Prem was completely unaware that they were going to meet each other very soon.

Prem arrived at the station and was making his way through the crowd to the exit which was on the other side of the platform. Suddenly he saw someone stumbled over the train stairs and rushed to rescue. To his surprise Puja was in his arms once again and it was the #BringBackTheTouch moment of their life. Their eyes met and they were in tears. They cried and then laughed and then cried and laughed together. They laughed because she said that the touch was so soft because of the Parachute Advance Body Lotion.

They went to their parents and asked them to give a green signal to their relation and with a lot of ifs’ and buts’ they were tied in the inseparable bond. They were engaged and were married later. They live a happy married life loving each other more and more every day.

#ToiletForBabli - In search of hope, hygiene and health

As we all know our country India -  fastest developing countries of this world with a population off around 1,261,850,000, in which peoples including of all religion and races, making India the highest populated country in whole of the world. With so much of population, its difficult for India  to balance one of the main health related problems prevailing between its peoples that is SANITATION and HYGEINE.
let me tell you nearly 50% of Indian population is affected due to Open defecation which is majorly in the rural areas of India and most of them are childrens.
Babli, one of the girl who aims to persue higher studies and wants to do something for the peoples of her village. When she is back to her village after completing her 10th standard, she saw that the condition of her village was drastically poor for all the peoples residing there, and the main problem prevailing there was of a TOILET. She noticed that not even a single house in the village has a toilet, everyone goes to toilet in the open space, which is not good for the peoples especially for the childrens of the village.
Poor sanitation = Poor health of the childrens. This causes many diseases like cholera, typhoid, infectious hepatitis, polio and many more. Thinking of all this Babli felt very bad and she was not able to have sound sleep even she was not able to go to Toilet comfortably also. She thinks to work for them in a way in which she can teach them the use of toilet by various means and also the ways its helpful to the villagers children. She thinks to force her parents first to make a Toilet at her home for their personal use and then at first she plans to teach her neighbors and relatives and then so on. She took a vow that she will bring the change and make not only her village but also try to make all the places like her village.
So friends this problem is not only the #toiletforbabli problem but its the same for all childrens practically who are residing in rural areas of India.
Now Domex has started an initiative to handle the Open Defecation problem in India. They have joined forces with UNICEF to help improve access to basic sanitation for hundreds of thousands of people in areas that need it most. Domex is giving a chance to its consumers to contribute 5% of its profits to basic sanitation. They are helping in promoting good hygiene practices by raising awareness of sanitation crisis.
So guys we are getting a chance to help them, do your part now –

All you need to do is “click” on the “Contribute Tab” on www.domex.in and Domex will contribute Rs.5 on your behalf to eradicate open defecation, thereby helping kids like Babli live a dignified life.

Micromax Doodle 3 A102, Specifications and Review.

It always feels so good to be gifted by someone. Yes it does. And being a normal human being my Diwali was delighted when my better half gifted me a Micromax Canvas Doodle 3. So here I am to share my review about Micromax Canvas Doodle 3.

Micromax has always tended to surprise its consumers with the series of phones it has been launching. It has completely changed the face of the cellphones specially one which runs on android operating systems. It has launched n-number of phones in the market and now is one among the leading cellphone seller in the nation. But when Micromax first brought Doodle 3 in the market it was as good as an useless piece of crap because of its ROM and RAM being packed with very low memory. But it wasn't too late when the company realised its mistake and re-launched the phone with double RAM and ROM in the market and now this phone by the Micromax company is rocking the cellphone market.

Lets have a glance at the phone's specifications

It has 1.3 GHz Dual Core processor.
Comes with 15.24 cm High Brightness, FWVGA Screen.
Runs on Kitkat 4.4 Android Operating System.
Possesses 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM.
Has 2500 mah battery.
HD Video recording and Playing facility.
Supports both 3G and 2G band.
And it has GPS facility enabled too.

Review of the phone

Talking about the performance of the phone it runs great and of course it should, as it has been packed with good 1.3 GHz CPU and 1 GB RAM. The Display is not so good but you can't ask for a better display in this price range. Yes did i forget to mention that this phone is available for Rs.6499 in the market? Yes you heard me right. All the above specifications at such a cheap price. The display of Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 is a bit noisy, but it's 6 inch display tricks the looks of the phone and believe me no one is going to say that the phone you are carrying is not a very highly priced one. The other feature which makes the phone classy is the magnetic flip cover which gives you a small window to check date, time and answer your calls too like LG and Samsung. The mammoth size screen lets you watch videos and play games easily. The audio quality is not so good but yet its quite audible and clear. The phone has a very high speed WiFi connectivity. Also it works well on 3G through which you can experience a download speed of 21Mbps and an upload speed of 5.76 Mbps. The phone has an internal memory of 8 GB and can be extended up to 32 GB externally.

This phone may have a few glitches or may run slow a bit sometimes, like for an example when i play a game the screen seems to freeze a bit and the game seems to run slow. Some applications which occupy a large space on the RAM also seems to slag a bit but the fact is that the company is providing all it can and even more then that what is generally offered in this price range. Paying Rs.6500 or even Rs.7000 for this phone is a total value being paid for your money. So in my opinion I would rate this phone a 8.5/10. Also unlike other Micromax phones like Canvas HD A116 and Micromax Elanza 2 the applications downloaded from the play store can be directly installed to the external memory source which saves the users from the headache of low memory of the device. I have been using this device and exploring it in and out since last few days and I have really liked what Micromax has provided. And I really would suggest people to go for this phone if someone is looking for a good handset under 10 thousands.

Do leave your valuable comments after reading the post. Also a few more reviews for other phones are on its way, till then stay tuned.
