Ziqitza Health Care Ltd. announces launch of 108 Janani Express in Burhanpur.


Completes the launch of Janani Express in 48 districts in Madhya Pradesh
         

Burhanpur, November 1, 2017: Ziqitza Health Care Ltd (ZHL), one of India’s leading emergency medical service provider, today announced the launch of 5 Janani Ambulance services in Burhanpur district to provide emergency health care services to pregnant women and new born babies. The vehicles were lauched in the presence of Mahila Balvikas Mantri, Archna chitnis, Collector - Deepak singh and CMHO - Dr. D S Chauhan. The launch of the Janani Express Ambulances took place under the Integrated Emergency Medical Ambulance Services (EMAS) in Madhya Pradesh under a common three digit number “108”. Janani Express is a safe motherhood intervention under the National Rural Health Mission (NHM). It is being implemented with the objective of reducing maternal and neonatal mortality by promoting institutional delivery among pregnant women.

In addition to Burhanpur, the service has also been launched in Ashok Nagar, Panna, Chhatarpur, Dewas, Damoh, Narsinghpur, Ratlam, Raisen, Jabalpur, Katni, Shahjapur, Bhind, Vidhisha, Agar Malwa, Khargoan, Seoni  Rewa among other districts. From these districts, anyone can call 108 in an emergency from anywhere at any time 24 x 7 and they will be assisted. There are 675 Janani ambulances on road across 48 districts in Madhya Pradesh.

108 Control and Dispatch Centre (CDC) is set-up in Bhopal to handle all the Janani calls. 108 is a Toll-Free number which is accessible from any landline or mobile. All the Janani ambulances are equipped with GPS technology which enables the CDC to locate the ambulances in shortest possible time. And the most important fact is that this world class service is ABSOLUTELY FREE for the people.

ZHL was recently awarded the operations for Emergency Medical Ambulance Services (EMAS) in Madhya Pradesh under its integrated DIAL 108. With the signing of contract and commencement of services under 108, MP had become the first Indian State to get an integrated emergency medical services. So now the patrons in Burhanpur need to ony dial 108 to avail ambulance services for any emergency need.
